This wiki is to aid in the usage of SiloSync, but more prominently to aid in the development of SiloSync and the implementation of complementary standards and APIs.

SiloSync will allow users to move their own social graph (the info representing their friendships/relationships to others online) and their associated data. It is our philosophy that users own their data. Not MySpace, not Facebook, not SiloSync: just he users.

Google recently announced their OpenSocial set of APIs, which is their answer to the Facebook Applications APIs. Many partners including Hi5, LinkedIn, Friendster, Ning, Salesforce, Plaxo, Viadeo, Oracle, and Google's own Orkut have agreed to implement this.
